Mirimiri is the first part of the session embodying all the energetic exchanges between the client and practitioner. It includes counsel, what's going on for the client, tōhu of the body and the wairua, showing  what afflicts the client and is vital to creating trust and insight for the practitioner. Takutaku are used to open the healing space so the client feels safe and held.  

Romiromi is the bodywork, using pressure points to release trauma, stress & physical pain sitting within the cellular memory of the body. It leads to aligning & rebalancing the client ā wairua, ā tinana, ā hinengaro.

This is the ancient practice of pelvic steaming. Māori women and other indigenous cultures all around the world used this practice for the health and wellbeing of themselves and their whakapapa.

My work with Taiawa Steaming

I provide a space for one on one, in person and with online group sessions that educate and empower women to connect to the power of their Whare Tangata. I am currently creating a Kaupapa for women to create their own practice, to explore their needs and rituals safely and powerfully.

Koomirimiri is about the preparing Mama and Pēpi ā wairua, ā hinengaro and ā tīnana leading up to birth. It’s honouring this time for healing and nurturing so our Mama can surrender and be open to vulnerability within her birthing space.

This is for clients needing to kōrero and maybe need advice around creating ritual, ceremony or healing one to one online. These sessions are more of Mirimiri type consultation for people needing guidance and support from a Te Ao Māori perspective to empower and navigate life moving forward.

This service is for people that feel their residence has spiritual activity or have had an event occur at a residence or possibly that something that feels off that you can’t explain but that you feel. 
Sometimes our babies or our animals start waking in the night or having nightmares is normally a tohu of this type of activity.
